Imagine being able to capture orders, check customer details, and browse product information right from your phone, even when you're out and about. That's precisely the kind of freedom the Zoey mobile app aims to bring to your B2B e-commerce operations.
Getting started with this powerful tool is pretty straightforward, but there are a few key steps to ensure a smooth login experience. First off, you'll need to download the Zoey B2B Sales App directly from the Apple App Store. Just search for "Zoey B2B," and you should find it easily. The link is also readily available if you prefer to go straight there: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/zoey-b2b-sales-app/id1500473616.
Now, about that login. To access the app, you'll need to be on a subscription plan that specifically supports this mobile feature. It's not a universal feature for all plans, so it's worth checking your subscription details if you're unsure.
For store owners and administrators, logging in should be a breeze – you'll likely be able to access it automatically. But what about your sales team? To grant them access, you'll need to enable specific permissions within your Zoey admin panel. Here's how:
- Navigate to the 'Teams' section and then 'User List'.
- Find the user you want to grant access to and click 'Edit Permissions'.
- Within the 'Role & Permissions' section, you can either allow all users with a specific role to log in to the mobile app, or you can opt for 'Use Custom Role' to give that individual user tailored access.
Once you're logged in, the app will begin syncing your product catalog, categories, and customer information. This initial sync can take a little while, especially if you have a large inventory – anywhere from a couple of minutes to perhaps 10-15 minutes for extensive catalogs. But once it's done, you'll have all that crucial data at your fingertips.
Changes made in your main Zoey admin system will sync to the app automatically each time you open it. You can also trigger a manual sync from the home screen by tapping 'Sync', or by going to your profile and settings and selecting 'Tap to Sync'. There's even a refresh icon on the products tab for quick product updates.
Speaking of syncing, the 'Auto Sync' feature is a real game-changer. When enabled, it automatically downloads updates when you open the app, fetches live stock and pricing information while you're building a cart, and sends new customers, orders, quotes, and drafts directly to your Zoey store. If you find yourself in an area with no internet, you can turn 'Auto Sync' off. Any data you capture offline will then sync up once you reconnect and re-enable it. Just remember, you might need to manually sync product and stock updates in this scenario.
There's also a handy 'Auto Sync Pending Carts' option. If you've been working on drafts, quotes, or orders while offline (with auto-sync off), enabling this will ensure those pending carts are synced automatically. If it's disabled, you'll need to sync them manually.
You can even customize how often the app syncs in the background, choosing from options like 'Default (1 hr)', 'Launch Only', or setting your own intervals.
For a more thorough refresh, you have the option to 'Refetch' specific data like accounts, customers, products, orders, quotes, or drafts, or even 'Refetch All Store Data'.
And if you ever need to reach out to Zoey support for help with the iOS app, you can easily record your screen to show them exactly what's happening. Just head to Settings > Control Center, add 'Screen Recording', then open Control Center and tap the record button. To stop, tap the red status bar or the record button again. You can then find your recording in the Photos app.
It's worth noting a few limitations to keep in mind. The app doesn't currently support download or gift card product types, file upload customizations, or certain shipping integrations like ShipperHQ or live rates from major carriers. Payment processing is limited to Stripe and Authorize.Net for credit cards, and credit card scanning isn't supported. Tax isn't calculated within the app itself, but it will be correctly applied when the order syncs back to your store. Multi-address checkout, sales, discounts, coupons, and gift cards are also not compatible at this time. And remember, the app is designed for iOS 13 and above.
