So, how do you actually get started? The journey typically begins with creating an account. For those in districts not using Clever Sync, the path is straightforward. You'll head over to https://app.edulastic.com and sign up as a teacher. The very first time you log in, it's crucial to select your school and district accurately. This isn't just a formality; it ensures you can access resources shared by your colleagues and participate fully within your school community. Pay close attention to the school name, especially if there are similar options – choosing the correct one, often indicated in ALL CAPS, is key.
Next, you'll specify your grade level and subject area. While you can create multiple classes later, this initial step helps set up your account. Edulastic supports various standards, including Common Core ELA and Math, Next Generation Science, and state-specific standards. For subjects that don't have associated standards, like Art or Music, you can simply select 'Other'.
Once your account is set up, the next logical step is creating a class and adding your students. From your dashboard, you'll find an option to 'Create new class'.
