Get ready to feel that unmistakable UCF spirit! Homecoming Week is gearing up to be an absolute blast, running from October 13th to October 19th, 2025. It's that magical time of year when the entire Knight Nation – students, alumni, faculty, and friends – comes together to celebrate everything that makes UCF special.
This year's lineup is packed with events designed to get everyone involved, from the main campus to UCF Downtown. You'll find a fantastic mix of classic traditions and exciting new experiences.
Student and Community Fun
For the students and the wider community, there's a whole lot to look forward to. Kicking things off on October 13th is Knights Got Talent at Memory Mall, where you can cheer on your fellow Knights as they showcase their skills. Bring a blanket and settle in for a night of impressive performances. This event is free for everyone!
Looking for a movie night? On October 14th, Movie Knight: Superman will be screening in the UCF Student Union's Pegasus Ballroom, complete with a short film competition and concessions. And if you're craving some laughs, Comedy Knight featuring Karlous Miller is set for October 15th at Addition Financial Arena. While current UCF students get in free with their ID, tickets for the public are available for $25 on Ticketmaster.
Over at UCF Downtown, don't miss the Foam Splash on October 14th. It's exactly what it sounds like – a giant foam party with tacos, ice cream, and water games. The first 200 attendees even snag free rubber ducks and t-shirts!
Get ready for Concert Knight on October 16th, featuring Miami rapper JT and special guest SoFaygo at Addition Financial Arena. Again, free for UCF students, with $25 tickets for the public via Ticketmaster.
And then there's the legendary Spirit Splash on October 17th at the UCF Reflecting Pond. This is the event everyone talks about – the nation's biggest homecoming tradition where students brave the pond to catch the famous homecoming duck. Expect special guest speakers and electrifying performances from the cheer team, Knightmoves, and the Marching Knights. It's free and open to all!
That same evening, Ignite the Knight at Memory Mall promises a vibrant festival atmosphere with live music, carnival games, food, and drinks, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display (weather permitting).
Of course, no homecoming is complete without the big game! Cheer on the Knights as they face off against West Virginia at the UCF Football vs. West Virginia game on October 18th. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. You can grab your game tickets through Ticketmaster or the UCF Athletics Ticket Office.
Alumni Connections
Alumni, there are special events tailored just for you too. On October 16th, the Shining Knights Alumni Awards Reception will be held in the Pegasus Ballroom. This event honors outstanding alumni and community leaders. Tickets are $75 and include a pre-reception with hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and dinner.
Alumni are also invited to Ignite the Knight on October 17th for a family-friendly festival. It's a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with the university and fellow graduates.
Homecoming is all about celebrating that unique UCF pride and making lasting memories. Whether you're a current student, a proud alum, or part of the wider community, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Don't miss out on the chance to be part of this incredible tradition!
