Ghost's story is one steeped in tragedy and resilience. Growing up in Manchester, his childhood was far from idyllic, marked by a cruel father who subjected him to disturbing experiences, even forcing him to interact with dangerous animals. This early trauma, coupled with his younger brother Tommy's struggles with addiction, shaped a young Simon. It wasn't until the events of 9/11 that he found a path forward, enlisting in the British Special Air Service (SAS).
His military career, however, was punctuated by profound personal loss. Returning home on leave, he discovered his family in disarray. His father's influence had clearly taken a toll, leading to Tommy's drug dependency and theft from their mother. Simon’s dedication to his family led him to postpone his return to active duty, working to help Tommy overcome his addiction and confronting his father.
