Method 1: To create diagonal headers; 1. Select the cell, go to Format, then Cell, and Borders. First select a thin solid line type (see Figure 2), then click on the diagonal line option (see Figure 3), choose a slightly thicker solid line (see Figure 4), and finally click on the outer border icon (see Figure 5) to draw the border; 2. Select that cell again, go to Format, Alignment, set Horizontal alignment to General or Left; for Vertical alignment, choose Distributed Align (Center is better when there’s enough vertical space); 3. Enter 'Class', press ALT + Enter; then enter 'Name'; 4. Add spaces before both Name and Class so they are positioned appropriately.
Method 2: Method as shown in Figure 1: Follow steps similar to Method 1 for drawing borders; After selecting the cell and adjusting borders as per previous instructions; Input 'Name Class' with font size set to size18; Right-click on 'Name', set Cell format to Subscript; right-click on 'Class', set it as Superscript;
Method 3: Steps include using Border tool from Common Toolbar (referencing Figure7) for adding an outer frame; Use Drawing tools from View/Toolbar/Drawing section by clicking Line Tool in Drawing toolbar (cursor changes into fine cross shape). Draw first diagonal line within the selected cell followed by another diagonal line using same method. Adjust lines if necessary by dragging them around while holding left mouse button down.; Set horizontal and vertical alignments of selected cells both as Justified through Format/Cell/Alignment menu;
Input ‘Subject Level Year’ into cells with appropriate spacing adjustments made via ALT+ENTER at specified positions.
Continue making visual adjustments until header looks appealing.
Method Four follows similar steps but involves creating text boxes after drawing diagonals which can be adjusted accordingly, Finally deleting unnecessary lines or text boxes can be done easily through right-clicking options.
Method Five starts with opening a blank WORD document where you insert a table of one row one column adjusting its dimensions approximately width of three centimeters height two centimeters ensuring ease of subsequent text adjustment.
