Clearing the Decks: How to Delete a Skype for Business Conversation on Your iPhone

Ever find yourself scrolling through your Skype for Business chat history on your iPhone, wishing you could just tidy things up a bit? Maybe there's a conversation you no longer need, or perhaps you just prefer a cleaner slate. Well, it's actually quite straightforward to delete those chats, and it's good to know exactly what happens when you do.

Here's the simple process:

First things first, open up the Skype for Business app on your iOS device. Once you're in, head over to the main screen where you'll see your recent conversations listed. Now, find the specific chat you want to remove. Instead of just tapping it, you'll want to tap and hold on that conversation.

As you hold your finger down, you'll notice a few options appear. To get to the delete function, simply slide your finger to the left. Keep sliding until you see the 'Delete' icon pop up. It's usually a little trash can symbol. Once it's visible, just tap that 'Delete' icon.

And voilà! The conversation is gone from your chat history. For those who like a quicker route, you can also just swipe your finger all the way to the left on the conversation you want to delete, and the delete option will appear directly.

Now, a really important note to keep in mind: when you delete a conversation this way, it's not just hidden; it's permanently removed from the Exchange server. This means you won't be able to get it back, even on another device. So, it's always a good idea to be sure before you hit that delete button. It’s a clean sweep, for sure!
